Ordering Information
- Call
for a quote (no email quotes, sorry) and to confirm we have the items
in stock. If you wish to place an order, we will ask for your payment
information.
- There
are no returns on special orders. If a unit is not in stock and we order it for you, it is considered a special order.
- If you
want a used item to be held for you, please call to place a deposit or pay in full. We will
send you an email that confirms the item is being held for you.
Payment
Tidepool
Audio accepts Visa/MasterCard, Paypal, personal checks, U.S. Postal money orders,
and bank wire transfer.
- Visa
/ Mastercard
- Paypal so you can use your American Express (to confirmed Paypal addresses only)
- Personal
Check. If you pay by check,
we can ship to an address of your choosing. Merchandise will ship once
your check has cleared [7-10 days].
- U.S.
Postal money order.
If you pay by U.S. Postal money order, we can ship to an address of
your choosing. Merchandise ships within one business day money order
is received.
- Bank/Wire
Transfer.
If you pay by bank transfer, we can ship to an address of your choosing.
Please email for our bank routing and account information. $20 bank
fee applies.
Return
Policy
Customer
has two days to decide whether to keep merchandise or return it, less
a 10% re-stock fee. Alternately, you may choose to receive store
credit without a re-stock fee which is good for one year. In case of returns,
customer is responsible for shipping costs both ways.
- After
two days in customer's posession, sale is considered final and no refund
will be offered.
- Customer
must return merchandise to Tidepool boxed exactly as it was received.
Original carton(s) and inner packing material with all accessories must
be included. Failure to return all manuals, cables, boxes and parts
will result in a charge against customers deposit for the value
of items and the cost of returning the unit to original condition.
- Any damage
to returned units will be repaired by the manufacturer and charged to
customer. This cost is above and beyond the 10% evaluation fee. All
used/opened units are photographed before leaving Tidepool Audio and
any pre-existing cosmetic flaws noted.
Warranties
- New
Merchandise:
All new units
are covered by Manufacturers warranty. Extended warranties may also be
available at time of purchase, please ask.
- Used
Merchandise: Units are fully tested before being offered
for sale and carry a 10 day warranty. If customer believes an item to
be defective, customer may elect to ship unit to manufacturer for evaluation
or return merchandise within two days, less a 10% re-stock fee. If a
defect is found by the manufacturer, Tidepool Audio may elect to pay
for repair or issue customer a complete refund. Used vacuum tubes are
not covered by warranty.
- No other
warranties are expressed or implied.
Shipping
Tidepool
Audio generally uses FedEx. All shipments are insured for the invoice amount.
If you prefer a carrier other than FedEx, please let us know in advance, we'll try to accomodate.
If your item is in stock, we will ship your order within one business
day, though we often can ship the same day you place your order. We email
you the tracking number of your package so you'll know when to expect
it.
International
Sales Policies
- Payment.
Payment
must be made by bank wire transfer only. Email us with your full name, address & phone and we will email
you a shipping quote. If the total price meets your budget, we then
provide our bank information so you can make a wire transfer. We do
not accept credit cards or checks on international orders.
- Shipping.
We generally ship via FedEx for a balance of
reasonable cost and relatively quick shipping time (generally 4 to 7
days). All shipments are insured for purchase price. We can also ship
via UPS. Unless you really love the USPS we prefer not to ship internationally with them, the hassle factor outweighs saving a few bucks.
- Availability.
Some manufacturers such as Benchmark do not allow U.S.
dealers to sell new products outside the U.S. If you are interested
in making a purchase, please inquire. All of our used gear is available
for international customers.
- Customs/Duties.
We state the true value on all customs forms. No exceptions. All customs,
taxes, or duty fees are the sole responsibility of the customer.
- Returns.
All international sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.
