Soundelux Microphones
David Bock, the founder of Soundelux microphones, has started a new microphone company called Bock Audio. We stock all three models of Bock Audio microphones, which, other than the name badge, are virtually identical to the Soundelux models they replace. They are:
Bock 251 (replaces the Soundelux Elux251)
Bock 151 (replaces the Soundelux E251C)
Bock 195 (replaces the Soundelux U195)
As one of the largest Soundelux dealers in the U.S., we have provided our customers with no-nonsense information regarding the tonal character and potential applications of each microphone in the line. We can now help you choose the right Bock microphone that will compliment your vocal style and type of music. Since our overhead is low you can expect great prices.
Bock microphones capture beautiful, toneful renditions of vocals and musical instruments. Ruler-flat test instruments these mics are not; think of a dramatic or romantic presentation for a starting point. Call to discuss your needs and arrange a demonstration.
We are a factory-authorized Bock microphone dealer; all Bock microphones purchased from Tidepool Audio will carry a three year warranty (one year warranty on tubes). Any warranty issues are handled directly by the designer David Bock. Before you buy your next microphone, call us for honest advice and incredible pricing.

Soundelux E251C Cardioid-only tube mic with two distinctly different sounds: First, it captures the airy, extended presence of the top of the line ELUX251. Secondly, it captures the gutsy mid-range presence of the (discontinued) E250. Yes, it's like two distinctly different mics in one package! The E251C rolls off the bottom at around 30 Hz, while the ELUX251 goes down to about 10Hz. We're blown away with this Soundelux microphone!

Soundelux U195 A mic with the low frequency performance of the FET47 and the high Frequency performance of the 87FET. Fixed cardioid pattern. This is a super versatile mic for big vocal presence, acoustic guitars and overall drum kit mic'ing. If you have been on the hunt for an affordable pro-level recording microphone, make sure to give a listen to the Soundelux U195. People often think they're hearing a tube because of the large presence the U195 conveys, but its actually a FET (field effect transistor) design. Remember, listen with your ears, don't let specs/circuits fool your eyes! Includes 'Econ Spider' shockmount and wood storage box.
