Naked Eye Microphone
Please call for price

This is the best-selling, and most affordable Crowley and Tripp ribbon microphone. The Naked Eye microphone features similar high output, low noise characteristics of the other Crowley & Tripp microphones, but with dual voicing: A traditional darker sound on the front side of the figure eight, and a brighter rising ribbon response on the other. Tracking your electric guitar? Use the dark side right up against your cranked guitar amp. Overdubbing vocals? Spin it around and track your vocals on the bright side. The difference is big: Each side of the Naked Eye mic features its own distinct voicing.

  • Dual voicing for limitless studio applications; loud guitar amps, quiet acoustic sources, vocals and more
  • Traditional warm ribbon response on the front side of the figure eight
  • Rising response on the back, but without the typical condenser harshness
  • Durable Naked Ribbon Design by Crowley and Tripp for everyday use
  • High output, low noise, with a custom wound, full size transformer for smoothest bass and cleanest signal
  • Hand built in the U.S.A. - Three-year warranty
  • Innovative low diffraction rotary mount included

Studio Vocalist Microphone $1795

The Studio Vocalist is an all-new, full size, professional ribbon microphone. No other natural ribbon microphone has the output level and quality of the Crowley and Tripp Studio Vocalist. It has a higher output than a stage dynamic mic, almost no self-noise, and is extremely rugged compared to conventional ribbon microphones.

The Studio Vocalist's high output level allows you to use it with the preamp of your choice. Pick out your preamp for the tone, not only for super-high gain. And you can use the output to the fullest, because of the pro-level shielding so that radios and magnetic sources won't get into the track.
Most ribbon microphones are known for their "dark" sound, not so with the Studio Vocalist. It has a smooth rising response more like a large diaphragm condenser, but without the top end harshness.

The Studio Vocalist combines the best qualities of modern dynamic and classic ribbon microphones with solid, proven techniques. It has a robust feel that extends to the precision machined, hand assembled inner workings of the microphone which are designed to last.

Hand built in USA - Lifetime Warranty!
